Michael Scott Hindahl

Michael Scott Hindahl died July 12, 2005, of (colon) cancer at age 53.

Mr. Hindahl was born April 6, 1952, in Bloomington, Illinois and was raised in Salem and Estacada. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Illinois State University and a doctorate from Oregon Health & Sciences University. He owned Links Analytical, a golf course environmental monitoring and testing firm in Estacada, for the past seven years. In 1987, he married Peggy Price.

Survivors include his wife; parents, John and Mary; brother, David; and sister, Trish Kruse.
